2010 Australian flu vaccine recommendation
The Australian Influenza Vaccine Committee (AIVC) met on 2 October 2009, and agreed to adopt the WHO recommendations announced in September for the 2010 influenza season southern hemisphere winter.

Pandemic vaccine approvedAustralia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), has approved the registration of a pandemic influenza (swine flu) vaccine, for use in adults and children aged 10 years and over.
