The governance of the Influenza Specialist Group (ISG) begins with a Board of Directors , and Dr Alan Hampson OAM as Chairman. Supporting the board are 4 sub-committees:

• Finance Commitee
• Executive Committee
• Scientific Advisory Committee
• Public Affairs & Advisory Committee

The day to day management of the ISG is undertaken by an Executive Officer, Mr Kim Sampson. Kim has recently been appointed to the role of Company Secretary. He has over 25 years of experience in finance & management roles within the area of medical and scientific research, public and private health, and community services. Kim joined the organisation in the inaugural role in August 2008.
